A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

With all the constant shifts in the world around us, I wanted to create an evolving platform to silently empower kids and adults navigating the world & to help remind you that you're not powerless in the roles you take on.

About Nisaa (Founder)
Nisaa Hussain holds an LLB in International Law and Globalisation from the University of Birmingham, and is currently completing her MSc in Computer Science at the University of York alongside her certificate in Data Science from Turing College. With her experience across humanitarian organisations through to fintech & blockchain, her goal is to translate that experience to create an evolving platform for children, their communities, and their future through functional design & advocacy. Her work is deeply influenced by her father's battle with sarcoidosis & lymphoma, a struggle marked by relentless optimism and a commitment to helping others even in his hardest moments. Watching him navigate that with grace and hard work shaped everything she wanted to create. Kosi Atelier is the result of honouring the lessons she's learned to create with purpose for the people who need it most.
Our origin story
Kosi Atelier was founded in 2023. Our mission is to create toolkits that help people navigate their lives. We design products for sensory living, produce research-driven media exploring the patterns that shape us, and facilitate educational workshops that bring communities together.
Archetypes, explained
Archetypes are timeless patterns that shape how we experience the world; found in cultures, stories, and within ourselves. They help us understand our behaviors, motivations, and responsibility to others. Each collection embodies an archetype through sensory design and research-driven curation.
